KTR LEAVES FOR THE UNITED STATES TO ATTRACT FOREIGN INVESTMENTS

In order to bring in more attractions in terms of IT and entrepreneurship, IT and Industries minister for the state of Telangana KT Rama Rao has left for the United States of America on Wednesday to attract investments to the state in IT and other core sectors. He will be visiting six states: Washington DC, New Jersey, New York, Sillicon Valley, Chicago and Minnesota. He will sign several MoUs including a key pact that would link up T-Hub with Silicon Valley.

KT Rama Rao will inaugurate T-Bridge in Silicon Valley which is an initiative by the T-Hub set up in Hyderabad to encourage start-ups. Once the T-Bridge is launched in US, it will help the T-Hub in Hyderabad to get more start ups incoming. The minister will also interact with top five pharma giants in the world and request them to open shops in the proposed Hyderabad Pharma City. He will also promote the proposed Medical Devices Park in the Medak district.

The Medical Devices Park has been planned in a 400-acre land in Sultanpur village in Patancheru mandal in Medak district. Rama Rao is scheduled to address AdvaMed 2016, a leading MedTech conference in North America on October 19.
