- Government of India accepts CM Chandrababu Naidu request of developing ring road of 180 kms around Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali under National Highway Development.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu wrote a request letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on developing ring road for the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
PM has forwarded the issue to concerned union minister for Road Transport minister Nitin Gadkari. Government of India has accepted the proposal with a condition that land required for road needs to be provided by state government.
Total cost of project is Rs 19,700 crores for 180 kms, For each kilometer 22.2 acres of land required which sums up to 4,050 acres for the whole project. State officials are preparing the required reports for the project.
After swearing as Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu and team worked hard on preparing plans for development of capital city and Andhra Pradesh, now he is taking it to the next phase of getting approvals, funds and sanctions from the concerned departments.
