PRECAUTIONS BEING TAKEN AHEAD OF THE PREDICTED HEAVY RAINFALL IN TELANGANA

Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has ordered all the officials and the administrative machinery to be on high alert on account of weather reports that predict heavy rainfalls in the state of Telangana. CM has spoken to Chief Secretary Sri Rajiv Sharma, Special Secretary of Revenue Department Sri Pradeep Chandra, GHMC Commissioner Sri Janardhan Reddy and Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sri Mahender Reddy and instructed them to be on alert and take all necessary precautions to face any eventuality.

On the orders from the CM, Special Secretary of Revenue Department spoke with the collectors of the districts of Telangana and asked for a Disaster Management Authority meeting with the SPs of all the districts. He wanted them to identify the areas and places that are going to get effected the most due to the rainfall and transfer the people to safe places that have good electricity, water and sanitation facilities. He also suggested that the medical teams and ambulances should be made ready for any worst case scenario.
