Electricity is supplied to hospitals and water supply board through special lines using Generators and Traditional power. As per Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s direction, 4700 Electricity employees from 10 districts are working in Vizag to get power supply to whole city as soon as possible. In Godavari districts power supply came into normal within one day as the loss wasn’t high.

Materials required for rebuilding poles, transformers, and supply lines were from Tamilnadu, Odisha, Maharashtra, Telangana and Karnataka. CM Chandrababu Naidu along with power supply chief sectary Ajay Jain, AP Genco managing director, AP Transco CMD K. Vijayanad and other top regional officials are monitoring the work closely in Vizag.
