CHANDRABABU NAIDU: I AM VERY IMPRESSED BY HOW OFFICIALS HANDLED PUSHKARALU

The recent Krishna Pushkaralu have been a massive success and the reports clearly suggest it. CM Chandrababu Naidu recently felicitated all the officials for ensuring a smooth conduct of the 12-day mega event and also thanked the Government employees and volunteers for their services.

Speaking with a huge gathering of all the Government employees and volunteers at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium in Vijayawada, he appreciated the dedicated efforts of the officials, employees and volunteers and said that the event would not have been such a massive success. He urged them all to continue to work in the same spirit for the development of the state and said that Pushkaralu had taught them several lessons and the best practices adopted during the event need to be documented. He wanted all these efforts to be incorporated as best case practices in the day-to-day administration.

On this account, CM declared Friday as a holiday for all the employees who gave their services in Krishna Pushkaralu. He said an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh will be paid to those government employees and Rs 5 lakh to outsourcing employees who died while discharging Pushkara duties. He said Rs 3 lakh would paid to those who died in accidents during Pushkaralu. He expressed happiness that Vijayawada and the state capital got recognized due to Krishna Pushkaralu and claimed that 99 percent of pilgrims, who had attended the river festival, expressed their satisfaction.
