CENTRAL MINISTERIAL COMMITTEE ACCEPTS THE VIZAG ITIR PROPOSAL.

The proposal sent by CM Chandrababu Naidu to the Govt of India on creating an ITIR ( Information Technology Investment Region) in Visakhapatnam was approved by the Central Ministerial committee and was sent for review to the concerned departments to express their views in 6 weeks.

The proposed ITIR to have clusters of Investments zones in Parawada, Madhurawada, Bhogapuram and Gambheeram with a total area of 11,000 Acres and at a cost of 30,000 Crores.

AP govt is aiming at an investment of 50,000 Crores in IT and Electronics companies. The IT policy and 24*7 power of AP are attracting investors, with ITIR being set up, Vizag will start seeing investments in IT coming in.
